Planex Sales Pty Ltd recently contracted GP Industries for the move and upgrade of their Cheltenham plant to a brand new factory in Hallam.

The brief was to provide a facility that would accommodate growth and allow the further upgrades that will become necessary over the next 25 years.

GP was able to satisfy Planex's needs and made the necessary alterations to the facility.

The upgrade consisted of refurbishing the 3 stage Pre-treatment plant, the drying oven and a new Stainless Steel Powder Booth, Cyclone and Cartridge Filter

To improve production through-put, the existing cure oven and the overhead conveyor system, were modified and extended to cater for this.

To accommodate large cabinets, the batch powder coating plant was upgraded with a new powder booth and oven extension.

The result is a delighted client and another success for GP.
